The Protestant parish of Steckborn, Switzerland, is home to just under 1,600 parishioners. These residents live in the municipality of Steckborn and the districts of Salen-Reutenen and Hörhausen within the city of Homburg. The parish is led by the church council in collaboration with the staff.
The new website should be friendly and inviting to renew the somewhat conservative dusty image—a practical design with a modern system (CMS) under the bonnet.

The customer wanted a new, appealing design. It should suggest that church and religion have also arrived in today's age of technology. The website has many sub-pages with information about church life. The content was restructured―a news portal with an archive function and an online calendar that synchronises all events with the administration's Outlook every hour. The website was equipped with the enterprise CMS Typo3 so that the administration could manage content independently.
